The PoolRx Blue 4-Pack offers four individual units, each supporting 7,500 to 20,000 gallons of pool water. PoolRx is an easy-to-use algaecide that reduces chemical demand, improves water quality, and lasts for up to 6 months. The product contains a proprietary blend of minerals that continuously and effectively eliminate algae.

To use PoolRx, simply select the correct unit size based on your pool's total gallons, clean the filter first, and then drop the PoolRx unit into the pump basket or skimmer. The specially treated alloy cylinder is packed with the PoolRx mineral formulation, which immediately dissolves and forms a stable residual throughout the pool water for up to 6 months. The minerals eliminate algae while freeing up low levels of chlorine to be more active and productive in the water. During the pool's filtration process, the minerals are rejuvenated every time they return and pass through the cylinder.

PoolRx works synergistically with a constant low level of chlorine, ranging from 0.5-1.0 ppm for residential use and 1.0-5.5 ppm for commercial applications. If needed, a PoolRx Booster (part# 102001) can be added for longer seasons, larger pools, or tough conditions. The PoolRx unit is effective in rejuvenating minerals for up to 1 year in the water, so it's recommended to start with a new PoolRx unit at the beginning of each season for best results.

PoolRx+ is an updated algaecide formula from PoolRx, containing three active ingredients: Copper Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, and Silver Nitrate. The PoolRx+ Blue Booster is an EPA-registered, NSF/ANSI 50 Certified algaecide that supports 7.5K-20K gallons of water. The PoolRx+ Booster is used to replace the minerals contained in a PoolRx+ pool unit after 4-6 months of use, or to increase the amount of minerals upon the installation of a new PoolRx+ pool unit in pools larger than 20K gallons.

Both PoolRx and PoolRx+ products can support any size body of water and are ideal for use in chlorine, salt, UV, or ozone pools. PoolRx has been simplifying pool and spa care since 1994.
